 The Largest Cow is perched higher steep hill rising above the city of New Salem. Salem Sue can be seen for 5 miles. Built in 1974, this tremendous cow stands as a memorial to the area's dairy farmers, their huge herds, and the production of high quality milk.

 Iolani Palace is the last official residence of the kings and queens who ruled Hawaii. It is the only true royal palace in the United States. Visitors to this National Historic Landmark in Honolulu can enjoy one of the most precise historic restorations and learn much about Hawaiian history and heritage.

 Forrest L. Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center invites visitors to explore wildlife of North America. The exhibits showcase the natural forces that formed the 200-mile-long ridge and native wildlife, ranging from small insects to large animals. In addition to self-guided exhibits and trails, Forrest L. Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center offers many activities and nature education programs.

 The Washington Park Botanical Garden contains 9,000 square feet of greenhouse area. The park's domed Conservatory features more than 150 species of tropical plants from Africa, Asia and South America.

 Located approximately 7 miles from downtown Steamboat Springs, the Strawberry Park is the spot where a series of hot springs spew from the hillside at temperatures of approximately 150 degrees fahrenheit, and flow down into the creek.

 Nebraska State Capitol is an impressive 400-foot high building, constructed by Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue. This famous landmark features beautiful mosaic ceilings and floors, paintings and sculptures. The bronze figure of "The Sower" crowns the imposing tower. Free guided tours are available.
