User reviews for Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa- A KSL Luxury Resort
By David Smith from Houston Tx • I love the Biltmore
Overall Rating: 10 My family of 4 just got back from the Arizona Biltmore this Labor day. This is our second time and we love this place. It is so peaceful and there are plenty of things for the whole family. The hotel strives to make your stay the very best. You are minutes from the airport and getting there is easy. The hotel is gorgeous with Frank Lloyd Wright architecture everywhere. Great pools, great view... [more]s of mountains, fantastic restaurants, family events, golf, spa, etc. The beds are to die for. Service, Service, Service. We will be back. [less]

Overall Rating: 8 This hotel's claim to fame is that it was designed with influences from Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture. As a result, the lobby and main building are very angular and masculine, but also often dark, even in the middle of a bright Arizona day. Though everything was done right -- attentive service, beautiful grounds, cute shops -- the hotel isn't nearly as memorable as some of its co... [more]unterparts in the area. It seems best suited for a business trip. During the week, the den-style bar area comes alive with dozens of executives sporting loosened ties. [less]

Overall Rating: 6 Location [8] • Room [8] • Service [4] • Value [6] Although the Biltmore is a Phoenix landmark, I feel that they could have done much better during my stay. To begin with, they lost my confirmed reservation and were actually condescending at the front desk about the situation. Although the grounds of the hotel were quite beautiful and well maintained, the hotel itself reminds one of Alcatraz with carpeting. The restaurants were quite good, althoug... [more]h somewhat pricey. But then, if you stay there, you'd better expect to shell out.
Choose one of the competitive offerings in the area, such as the Phoenician, and you'll be a much happier camper. Biltmore, you're not all you're cracked up to be. Back to the drawing board. [less]

The Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa is situated 15 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The 1930s style lamps bring a western flair to the decor. The spa is one of the best in the world and is visited by some of the most prestigious dignitaries in the world. The Arizona Biltmore Spa offers 80 treatments, as well as steam rooms and saunas. The Arizona Biltmore Resort has a sports pool for water volleyball and basketball and the Paradise Pool, consisting of three pools and a 92 foot water slide. The restaurant is romantic and the dining exceptional, but dress is somewhat casual, and jackets are not required. At Biltmore Grill and Patio, diners sit under orange trees by the patio fireplace or indoors at this low key restaurant. Although some dishes are regional, most are contemporary American, with appealing salads such as the spinach with roasted tomato comfit complementing the main dish meats and sauces. Diners choose from the same wine list offered at Wright's. Guests can even order a tabletop campfire and s'mores makings. The Arizona Biltmore Resort has 738 spacious guest rooms decorated with wood and leather Mission style furnishings and sand, beige, and ivory colored fabrics.
