What they say you'll get is not necessarily what you will get. We upgraded to the Club level and was supposed to get high speed internet, drinks and hors d'oerves, bigger room etc. What we got? The drinks were soda, the hors d'oerves were over-cooked chicken wings. The internet was $10 a day. The room was small, dirty and unheated for the first day. The bathroom has no heat at all! The... [more] walls are paper thin. The pool shallow and dirty. The staff doesn't replenish the towels frequently enough at the pool or the food in the club room. The tv was broken and the parking (we were told was free) cost $25 a day for valet overnight parking. We sometimes waited in the cold for 20 minutes for a parking attendant to show up or to bring us the car. They have a Sheraton guarrantee. But whenevr we complained we always got the same thing. My wife and I call it the SHeraton shrug. They wrinkle their faces, look surprised and shrug their shoulders. "We're shocked" they say. It ruined our trip. [less]

The location of this hotel is great but that is about all it has going for it. There were people yelling and screaming in the hallway until 5am. There was no hot water in the morning for us. The check out took over 30 minutes and the staff was not interested in our bad experience. Avoid this hotel, stay at the Hyatt across the street! Overall Rating: 8 Location [10] • Room [6] • Service [8] • Value [8] I don't know what Sheraton Society Hill these other people were staying at, but it must have been in a parallel universe. We had 2 rooms for 3 nights, and everything was fine. Traveling with 5 teenagers isn't easy! Sure, the parking was expensive -- we knew that ahead of time, they don't make a secret of it. We dropped off our bags and my husband drove the car back to the airport,... [more] turned it in, and took a cab back. That wasn't too hard. The location was great -- view of the river, and within walking distance of most of the attractions. We took a subway to the ballpark for a baseball game, and it was very easy. The concierge was friendly and helpful and gave us some good tips. The only "average" rating I gave was for the housekeeping -- it seemed cursory, like the housekeepers just skimmed over things, but it certainly wasn't dirty! Also, they didn't leave enough towels -- so ask for more! That isn't hard either! I do love the comfortable Sheraton beds and all those pillows!! We paid for internet only one day, since it was $10.00. Other hotel chains we stayed at offer internet free of charge. Sheraton needs to get with the program on this feature! The restaurant was very expensive -- so we ate elsewhere. There are plenty of restaurants. [less]
