The service was awful, staff was awful, food was awful, rooms were awful....need i say more? i do not reccomend this dump to ANYONE. Everyone I was wth hated it.

The Connecticut Grand Hotel is situated on Interstate Route 84, just twenty minutes southwest of Hartford. This hotel is convenient to Brass Mill Center Mall, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casino, and Connecticut College Campus at Waterbury. The hotel features a soaring "park atrium", featuring beautifully landscaped walkways, park benches and waterfall fountains. For leisure activities, the Connecticut Grand features a huge, indoor pool and whirlpool. It also has fitness center with brand new cardio vascular and weight training equipment, as well as saunas, racquetball and volleyball courts. Golf, tennis, and jogging trails are located nearby. This hotel also has a picturesque outdoor terrace with sundeck.

The luxuriously appointed guest rooms feature beautiful, mahogany furnishings and a host of amenities armoire with a 27" TV, complimentary high speed Internet access, and a spacious ergonomic work desk. These rooms also feature large, marble bathrooms with hairdryer and Caswell Massey bath amenities.
