I hear they are losing their Marriott Franchise because they are so sub-par. I can't believe that anybody would give this hotel more than 2 stars.

The hotel was fine, check-in was fast, every amenity you need is there, they even have nicen soaps from bath and body works in the hotel room, which I can't say the same for some fancier hotels I have stayed in. The TV was a little small 19 in., but had full services, of games, internet, and jukebox. The noise from the trains they said in other reviews was not as bad as they said. I heard it once, but the train is 3 blocks from the hotel what do you expect. The resturant and pub was nice, strong drinks and very delicious sandwhiches. It is the closest hotel to downtown, besides the hilton, which is across the street. I would recomend this hotel if you could get a good deal.

The hotel is located near a major railway. It sounded like the trains were running through my room! This went on for an extended period at 3am. Lovely!

For me the location was perfact because it is in the center of town, and it is within walking distance of various pubs. The service was cordial and informative. My room was spacious, immaculate, and had ample amenities. Another thing I found to be a plus, was the evevator in the parking garage that went right next to the hotel's lobby. Therefore, overall, I would most definitely recommend a stay at the Renaissance Hotel.

I am very impressed with how this hotel is coming together. They are in the middle of a major renovation and things are definitely looking up...much more impressive than last time I stayed. Of course, the staff is the best in town!!! Great place to stay!!!

My family and I have stayed there twice and are looking forward to our next stay. The service is always great and the rooms clean. My children love the pool and hot tub area which is always clean and well stocked with towels. The price is the same as local economy hotels but with much better service. The Starbucks across the street is a plus too.
