My family & I had a terrific stay. The lady at check-in was very kind and helpful. Our room was clean, looks like it had new carpet and bedding. We had a room with a balcony and the view was incredible. We plan on returning with some friends this summer. I highly recommend this hotel. (avoid the hotels "downtown")Unless you like the ghetto. We learned that lesson the hard way.

They are not very clean rooms. One of the beds had soil on them and smell horrible. it seems like none of the maids wanted to clean the soil that was left to them by the past guest. So they decided just to put the covers on top of it and called it a day. Hotel seem like party central at the lake.
At check out time the bill was incorrect and they had hidden charges as my favorite the usage of a security box. That i didn't use.

In our room, there was food in the floor and slime on the alarm clock. The toilet did not flush and the sink did not drain. The front desk did send a maintenance man to fix the problems, and he did fix them. The blankets and comforters were old and worn; however, the sheets were clean. Our balcony did overlook the lake, but it also overlooked the parking lot. This "resort" does look nice from the outside, but our particular room was dirty, in need of repairs, and the linens had been used for years.
If you are looking for a place that takes pets, this resort had lots of guests with pets.

When my wife and I arrive we thought from the outside it look very nice. But on the inside the carpet was OLD and in some places dirty. The food was good but too expensive and the room had a old look too and the room was too high in price. When I think of the word CLARION you think of classy and the best service for your money but not here. My family will not stay there AGAIN!!!

I loved the scenery! It was just beautiful! I went just for a vacation and didn't stay too long, but the service was great! I can't wait to come back again!
