The highlander has free shuttles to the airport even though there are airplanes flying overhead, they are not as loud as most anticipate. The staff is very friendly overall, especially the front desk. There is also free internet access and the restaurant in the hotel is excellent. Although it is a little pricy,... [more] the food is pretty good. The rooms are very nice and the conference center is large and nice for a big party or meeting. The pool and spa close in September so you may not get to use them, but if you do, they are really nice. [less]

Overall Rating: 10  Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [10] • Value [10] I stayed at the Highlander in June. Everything was lovely. Service, people were grand. I would consider staying there in the future. Breakfast and dinner were delightful in the restaurant. The room was great.

The Highlander Inn's lobby features a fieldstone fireplace and comfortable furnishings in a convivial setting. The property also includes an outdoor pool and spa tub. Within the glass enclosed main dining room of the on site Basil's Restaurant & Lounge, guests can enjoy menu items such as Chicken Saltimbocca and Haddock Provencal. The Highlander Inn Conference Center accommodates from 10 to 200 guests for corporate or social events, with a wide variety and range of customized options.
The country house annex offers 22 non smoking queen guestrooms with complimentary Internet access and private bathrooms. The main hotel features 66 standard guestrooms with cherry furnishings, and complimentary high speed Internet access upon request.
