Overall Rating: 10 Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [10] • Value [10] This was a great alternative to the many overpriced hotels in the historic district of charleston. It is just a block or two from the market and an easy walk from the battery and basically all of Charleston. We got a great deal, and parking which is a premium in charleston was free, even when the hotels own lot was full, they reimbursed us for the lot across the street. We had a lovely anniver... [more]sary night on the town and didn't have to worry about cabs or driving since it was all within a few blocks.
The room was plenty big, a king bed, and included a coffee maker and a fridge which meant we could bring some goodies for breakfast and have it in bed without leaving the room. [less]

Overall Rating: 8 Location [10] • Room [8] • Service [6] • Value [10] It was a great evening! I checked in and immedietly parked my car - a BIG deal in Charleston as there is virtually no free parking. This is located in the heart of Downtown. One block from King Street Shopping and one block from the Old Market. It was surrounded by great places and restruants and almost all of the places to see and do were within a block or two.
The service was very h... [more]elpful and eager to accomidate and make recomendations. When I was quoted the rate, I was afraid to look inside the room, but it was a BARGAIN. Very clean, quiet and I felt safe. All of the details of an expensive hotel without the cost of one. I can't wait to go back and I'll surely stay here! [less]
