Overall Rating: 8  Location [6] • Room [8] • Service [8] • Value [10] This is a nice no frills hotel. If you are coming to Nashville for CMA fest, it is a short walk to the Arena for the nightly concerts. When they have the shuttles running from the arena, it was great. But we came in on Thursday and they don't run until Friday.
For the phyically fit, it is about an 15 min walk into the downtown area over the Shelby Street bridge. If you are not,... [more] plan on driving or grabbing a taxi to go downtown.
The breakfast is fine for one day, but it never changes and is boring. We hardly spent any time in our room, so it fine for that. The pool looked neat because of the shape but small. We never got a chance to use it because of all of the activites surrounding the fest.
There is also a decent Shoney's less than one block away.
I would recommend this hotel for the price and location during CMA Fest. I called 15+ hotels and they are the lowest priced chain in the area. For the other 51 weeks of the year, you could do better checking into hotels further away from the city and driving in each day. [less]

Location a little out of the way since we needed to be near Vanderbilt Univ but it was only about a 10-15 min drive. Breakfast in breakfast room was nice and pool was pretty cool looking and very clean.
