I liked the Quality Suites. It was in a good
location for us. The room was more than
adequate for three of us, adults. We appreciated the Happy Hour every day and the
breakfast was just fine. The pool is nice.
The room was clean and comfortable. The
main bedroom was large, and my son said the
sleeper sofa was fine. You have a great view
of the... [more] pool. If you want the Ritz, stay at
the Ritz. As for the mold smell, that is
all over the state of Louisana. I lived
there for four years, and were Canadians,
it is something you have to get use too.
I for one will stay there again, anytime,
The service was quite good. They served us
very well. NO COMPLAINTS! [less]

Overall I found my experience to be very good. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful. The cooked to order complimentary breakfast (a rare find) was delicious. The lounge/bar was a great place to meet other hotel patrons and also local residents who kept me constantly entertained with good conversation. Plenty of good resturants within walking distance and 60+ cable channels in the suite. ... [more] The only real negative was the sound of traffic on I-10, but that was minor. [less]

room had a bad odor, mold in bathroom tub area, mold in bathroom, complained to front desk, but no one seemed to really care. Very bad for someone with allergies! Eleavaor was broke and had to walk around to use the other elevator. Room by road and noice was a factor. Air conditioner noisey and smelled.
