When I go to hotels, I really only care if it's clean. I don't need any frills. That said, the whirlpool tub was nice, as was the make your own waffle continental breakfast. I also liked the proximity to downtown Mystic. My boyfriend and I walked to Mystic Seaport and the shops in the rain and it still wasn't a bad trip.

The hotel was very clean, the service was excellent (everyone was nice, helpful, and pleasant to deal with...especially Ken, the Manager), the complimentary breakfast was terrific as well (waffles, danish, cereal, hard boiled eggs, bagels, juices, and coffee/tea). We stayed in a suite and the bed was so comfortable, the room was spacious, clean, had a little refrigerator, sink and microwave oven.... [more]..and we just loved the jacuzzi!! Also less than 1 mile from Mystic Seaport (a must see), about 2 miles from downtown Mystic (adorable little town), and approx. 15-30 mins. from the casinos. Enjoy. [less]

Let me just say that this hotel has far exceeded our expectations and we will come back each year! My husband and I are corporate travelers and have traveled all over and stayed at more expensive brand hotels. We were expecting a typical budget Hotel. [more]nt desk was great and helped us find are way around town. You can feel safe in this town walking at night and there's alot to do during the day. Shopping is close by and there are restaurants ranging from McDonalds to upper-class.
We loved the rooms, beds are comfortable with nice bed spreads and tasteful decor. The rooms are modern and bathrooms have really neat curved shower rods giving the shower and larger appearance. The bathroom is of adequet size. The towels are nice and plush and newer than that of other hotels. The hotel offer complimentary wireless internet free and our room had a fridge!
We asked to see a suite. BEAUTIFUL!!!! Fully equipped with kitchen table, fridge and microwave, jacuzzi with marble steps and two tvs. The room was larger than most suites at higher chain hotels! Carpet was nice and bathroom great. The jacuzzi tub is separate and not in the bathroom but the corner of the room! Definitly recomment this for honey mooners and corporate travelers.
There was only one elevator in the middle of the hotel but there are several entrances to hotel and front desk directs you where to go so you are close to your room. The doors are secured at 10pm (accessible by your room key after 10) and there is a security guard on duty from 10 until morning time.
