We checked into this place at 3:20 pm. When we told the desk clerk to charge a different card than the reservation was made with, he took the other card and after a few minutes told us his system was down, so he wanted cash. We paid cash, and then he told us we could go to the room to freshen up, but it was not clean yet, so we would have to leave at least a half-hour.
That was not the ... [more]bad part. When we did return that evening, the bed was made and there were clean towels, but it turned out the towels were the only clean thing in that room! There was mold and mildew in and around the tub,and the bathroom sink had the prior occupant's used toothpaste residue. We thought this was the most nasty thing until we turned down the blanket on the bed and found blood stains on it!!! We pulled the blanket off the bed and used our beach towels for blankets as the desk clerk had conveniently disappeared!
When we returned home, I went to my bank online, only to find out they had charged the card we made the reservation with! Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!!!!! Speaking of costs, I am still waiting for my refund. [less]

The first impression was the green pool and a handwritten sign saying closed. You could see the desk person lying on a bed in the back eating from a bowl. The mop buckets sitting by the front added a homey touch. A Dump.

When we tried to check in,...we were told by a woman who could barely speak english to come back later. She indicated that the manager was in town and for us to come back later that night. How does this place stay open ? Ridiculous.
