I have stayed at the Maui Banyan four years earlier, and found it to be a nice choice this September as well, when I returned with my wife and another couple. The 2 bedroom,2 bath suite with a view of the ocean was reasonably priced and offer a private refuge after a day of sightseeing and/or shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful place to stay. We stayed here the first five nights of our Honeymoon last September. Service was typical for Hawaii, very friendly and helpful, but the main office can be hard to find (not well labeled among the tropical plants). We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit last January. We thought it was great for the price. The pool area is a bit small, but it was never crowded. The beach is just a short walk and is wonderful. We had a bbq area just one unit away from ours and it served us nicely.
