Overall Rating: 6 Location [6] • Room [6] • Service [8] • Value [6] We stayed at this hotel in the Hyde Park area of Chicago (just South of Downtown) in Aug of 2004. Our room was average. The pool was nice and not crowded at all. The restaurant there was a little pricey, but never crowded. Food was good. We had the same waiter the 2-3 times we ate there. He was very nice.
The elevator was a little scary. Hopefully it's had some work done by now. The hotel had an enclosed, small parking garage at no extra cost.
Biggest down side, is there are no good restaurants in this area unless you go all the way down town. [less]
