I really didn't care for this hotel because i feel that they should have a more knowledgeable staff. Everytime I needed an answer to something,everyone really didn't have an accurate answer. When we wanted to eat at the Atrium on a Saturday night, we stood in line for over thirty minutes which i thought was unnecessary. We ended up leaving. I highly recommend this hotel. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed there on business on two separate occassions last year, and the staff knew our faces the second time there. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. I had dinner and drinks at Casey's Sports Bar and Grill. The food was excellent and drinks were generous. We also had the breakfast b... [more]uffet each morning at the Atrium Cafe and it was wonderful. Great selection of items and great service. The concierge was great in helping us find things to do. The only drawback to this hotel is that many of the attractions are at least a 30 minute drive or more. But, there is plenty to do in the downtown area as well. I really fell in love with Birmingham, and our stay at the Sheraton made it even easier to love. We received Southern hospitality at its best! [less]
