Lenox Suites Hotel

I have stayed at the Lenox hotel about 5 times. The location could not be better- in easy walking distance to Water Tower Place and the rest of the shopping on Michigan avenue. (And, I might add, the Ghiradelli Ice Cream/Chocolate Shop!)

Some of the rooms are suites with a separate living room + fold out sofa. My suite this week was large enough for 4 people (I was alone) and the c... [more]ost was $117. I did also get valet parking, an additional $35 dollars but had the opportunity for unlimited ins and outs with the car. The people were very kind and the service excellent, including folks to hail a cab if needed, quick valet for the car, etc.

My only disappointment this time was that the adjoining restaurant had closed. I got excellent recommendations from the staff for other places within walking distance- even a perfect family style breakfast restaurant only a few blocks away. I do wish though that the adjoining restaurant was still there. SO convenient.

Very friendly staff and location convienet but that was the only plus
Rooms in poor condition, tub faucets broke, shower curtain not appropiate size water leaks during shower causing hazard on floor, lighting in room very poor,
walls paper thin. refrigerator old and noisy, Tv did not work, picture constantly fading out

service was good, friendly but the cost of stay is little expensive. Except that would grade it 4 1/2 our of 5. One good thing about the hotel location is apt for a visitor who like to stay in the Down town.
