Overall Rating: 8 Location [8] • Room [10] • Service [10] • Value [8] My Mom & I stayed at the sliverton twice once in 2000 & again in 2001. The rooms are incredible, clean, lots of towels unlike the Hilton. We had a jacuzzi tub and as a matter of fact each room is a suite. That was a pleasant surprise. There was cable t.v.w/HBO. Room service was wonderful, juicy steaks & tender lobster. The casino speaks for itself, fun , and plenty to play. The drinks weren't ... [more]watered down either. We got limos rides to & from the strip & each trip was about $35 plus tip. The only thing I did not like was the pool being a tad bit cooler than I like my pool water. It took too long to get use to it. overall, the lay out of the place is very nice & private. We've stayed at the Flamingo, just recently The Hilton, & The Marriott Residence Inn, and this place was far superior to the afformentioned. Much Love [less]

Overall Rating: 2 I specifically reserved and paid for 2 non-smoking rooms approx. 4 weeks in advance. Upon arrival approx. 9:00 PM, I was told only smoking was available that the rooms were given to the first to arrive. Since I had paid for the rooms in full nearly a month in advance, those rooms were mine and should have been left empty waiting for me even if I had decided never to arrive. I was told that was hot... [more]el policy and there was nothing they could do for me. On top of that, the rooms are poor, the shower didn't drain, it took 2 hands to pull the shower diverter and even then most of the water came out of the tub faucet. They knew 3 people were staying in the room but there were only towels for 2 so we had to request more. The other room smelled like fried food all the time. The staff was not acommodating at all.
