The room we stayed in wasn't clean and the area around the hotel didn't feel like it was the safest. I wouldn't recommend it.

This hotel is unique in its own way. I really enjoyed my stay and would always stay when I am in Birmingham. The hotel is a great place for groups to stay, especially if you have teenagers because they cannot run off. The hotel does sit on a hill and overlook Birmingham and the view you would have to experience for yourself. It is a must see! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Ok, we were here for an Expo Event at the Hotel...no shuttle service, not a corkscrew to be found. There was no where to eat for dinner so we ran across a freeway bridge to find a restaurant. The Hotel offers a heavy fat laden breakfast...no one knew what low fat milk was, there is no bar, no food available after breakfast --except for vending machines. This place should be a Motel and not a Hotel... [more]...what amenities??? Some of the staff was personable, most of the staff bored and lazy. The room was horrible...dirty under the bed, behind the dresser, scuff and dents galore. I would expect to spend $25.00 a night to stay here. Itchy towels, dust in every crack. Oh FYI they charge a bogus utility charge in addition to the room rate and they don't tell you about it when you check in, but do post in on some card in the room, on the mirror. Great view yes, indeed, but everything else was far below. I WILL NEVER stay here, again and encourage you to look for other options. You will be thankful!
