Super 8 Motel Sedona

I called Sedona Super 8 threee weeks before my visit. I don't like to book through the internet and told the clerk this. He told me not to worry as he always offers the best prices through the front desk.
I visited the Super 8 Sedona on a snowy day. I got into town a 9 am (check in is at three) and I stopped by and told the clerk I had arrived. She very helpfully found me a... [more] room. Upon checking in I found the room to be clean, comfortable and the beds soft.
The rooms are great and the price reasonable, plus there is a great nightclub resturaunt across the street.

This is your average Super 8 room. The front desk was very helpful with planning different things to do. Even though we had already scheduled a jeep tour, she helped us get a discount!
The room was average, but I had no complaints.

Living in Phoenix, I travel to Sedona many times a year and have tried the Super 8 on several occasions. It is not a hotel I can recommend - the hallways are filthy and the rooms are only marginally clean. The beds are terribly uncomfortable, unless you prefer sleeping on concrete. And the last 2 visits to this place, the cable in my room was out and the management was rude when I pointed this out... [more] and asked for another room. The location is good as it's close to almost everything in Sedona, but you can find much nicer hotels for the same money. Look elsewhere - you'll be glad you did. [less]
