Our daughter goes to Case, and when we visit, we always try and get a room at the Glidden House. It is the most convenient location to visit University Circle. Besides the location (just steps away from Case Western, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and Severance Hall) the hotel is very enjoyable. It may appear to be some kind of bed and breakfast- but the rooms and bathrooms are large, well furnishe... [more]d, and come with all the amenities you would expect of a hotel. I would describe it has a very sophisticated boutique hotel. Though there are some other great hotels in Cleveland, I don't think there is anything else like this. I also recommend Sergio's, the restaurant (on the property). [less]

When I visit Cleveland, I stay at the Glidden House. It's very nice, prices pretty good (under $90 on occasion) for a room. Their restaurant, Sergio's, is one of the best in Cleveland, and worth the price. The location is excellent if you're visiting University Circle.

Good value, beautiful atmosphere and clean rooms. Continental breakfasts leave something to be desired. In particular, they tend to serve stale bread and muffins. Stick to the cereal.
