Overall Rating: 8  Situated in downtown Providence and close to shopping and restaurants, the Courtyard Marriott is a great choice for a weekend stay. The Marriott name ensures a pleasant stay. Rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel staff is experienced and helpful. Though you'll get charged for it, parking is convenient.

Overall Rating: 10  Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [10] • Value [8] We liked this hotel a lot. we spent Christmas in Providence last year. this hotel has a lot of great little touches that make you feel special like free coffee and tea and cookies on check-in. the rooms were nice and overlooked the river. the central location was great. we ate at the Biltmore and shopped at the mall across the street. we would definately go back.

Overall Rating: 10 Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [6] • Value [10] The location was perfect. Right near all restaurants and transportation. The best restaurant nearby was RiRa, an Irish bar. Perfect for dinner and then just a block away from the hotel.
The room was clean and beautiful. Comfortable beds and chairs and spotless bathroom. And the breakfast room was gorgeous, with a great selection of food.
I definitely recommend this ho... [more]tel to anyone who wants to spend some time in quaint Providence. [less]

With the train station and downtown Providence only a few blocks away, the hotel is a popular spot, due to convenience and proximity to the vibrant center of the city. The Fleet Outdoor Skating Center is within a few blocks of the hotel, offering ice skating in winter and inline skating in summer. More than ten golf courses are within ten miles of the hotel, including Triggs Memorial, Cranston Country Club and Sun Valley. The T.F. Green Airport is a 15 minute drive. The Courtyard by Marriott Providence offers a business center and library with fax, photocopy and print capabilities, as well as complimentary high speed Internet access. More than 2,600 square feet of meeting space is available. Other amenities include a sundry shop, laundry facilities, fitness equipment, indoor pool with spa tub and the Courtyard Café, where breakfasts are served each morning. The Courtyard by Marriott Providence features 216 spacious guestrooms, which combine comfort and functionality. Amenities include high speed Internet access, satellite television and coffeemakers.
