I am a business traveler, spending about 100 nights a year away from home. Very picky about my hotels. I tried 2 other hotels in Providence area, and this one is the best. One of the best hotels I ever stayed in.
Very clean, fresh. New beds (2 weeks old) and bed linens are heavenly. They use comforters and white duvets. Duvets are laundered for each new guest. (Bedspreads and blankets in ho... [more]tels are not). Beds are very comfortable, pillows very soft.
Hotel staff is very friendly.
Suites are very nice, everything one needs for long-term stay.
Kitchen appliances are sparkling clean.

We spent Sat; 11/26/05 night at your hotel and it had to be the worst experience I ever had in relation to a hotel stay. The construction of the hotel was below average, meaning that we could hear ordinary conversation from the room next door,and simple foot steps from the floor above, the south side exterior security door did not require access card, therefore not making it a secured hotel. The s... [more]tairways were filthy w/ orange peels, chips, etc. The pool had no towels and after 3 calls from the pool requesting towels we and others had to go to front desk for the towels. Granted this was my first time staying at the Hampton Inn Hotel and I should judge or presume that all Hampton Inn Hotels are alike, I would be hard pressed to try another Hampton Inn Hotel.
