This hotel was great. It had a very relaxed atmosphere. It was family oriented offering more than any hotel I have ever stayed at. This hotel served buffet all you can eat breakfast for the whole family free. My husband and I enjoyed happy hour on the house. Yes!! free drinks!! Best Suites Lake Charles had an indoor heated swiming pool including shelves with extra towels. We all know what it means... [more] to be able to get our hands on extra towels at a hotel. We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay. [less]

We reserved this hotel during March 2005 and had a marvelous time. We had the jacuzzi suite and in my humble opinion it is FABULOUS!!! Had my husband worried with my talking about knocking down walls and demolishing our home facilities to accomodate our own jacuzzi.... Staff are friendly, attentive, morning breakfast great with wide selection, and evening lobby happy hour was fun as well... gre... [more]at snack selections. Location.... great, just off IH 10 exit past Harrah's and right there by convention center and downtown Lake Charles. May plan 30th Anniversary weekend there if can't get assistance with early planning from another local Hotel. [less]

The hotel has a cocktail hour and a free full breakfast buffet. It's great for the price!!
