Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Inn of Governors in Santa Fe. My list of "pros" covers most of it, but had to add a few more wonderful words. The breakfast is definately a "FULL" breakfast (2 kinds of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, fresh fruit, various rolls, various cold and hot cereals; 3 types of juices, coffee, milk, and the service is "FULL&q... [more]uot; also. Service at breakfast is excellent.
The beds are the best we have ever experienced in a lodging. The sheets are at least 300 count and the towels are large, soft and plentiful. There are also two wonderful robes.
Coffee is Wolfgang-Puck European (in room and restaurant) and it's delicious.
I simply can not say more about this wonderful place and the wonderful people who run it. [less]

This is a excellant hotel - great service, great food, and great attention to detail. This hotel is a must if you are staying in Santa Fe and would like access to the Plaza and other downtown areas. The CONs are negated by the fact they offer ear plugs for the rooms that are near the road, but if you have problems sleeping with ear plugs then you might request a inside room.

Overall Rating: 10 Location [8] • Room [8] • Service [10] • Value [10] The location was great. Walking distance to the Plaza, restaurants and bus line. The concierge was excellent and the overall service was great. We brought our 13 months old son and it worked out great.
Also full breakfast included which is very good.
