We had a long stay (2 1/2 weeks) at the Maron hotel at the end of October/beginning of Nov 2004. The rooms are comfortable altho' maybe a little tired but the staff more than make up for that. We had a couple of minor maintenance concerns that were taken care of straightaway and any question put to the front desk was dealt with efficiently and with a smile. [more]re you can buy goods to stock up the fridge but the evening meals served in the Vivo bar next door were great and reasonably priced so we ended up eating there most nights, the bar staff again are a credit to the hotel. We weren't looking forward to a long hotel stay but these guys couldn't have made it any better for us. [less]

The service here is excellent, from food and beverage to room cleaning to business services (finding ground transfer, receiving faxes, receiving mail, etc.). Some convenient features of staying here: free wireless internet (seems to be reliably on during the evenings, but sometimes goes down during the day), 'in-house' Connecticut Limo office so one can go directly from the hotel to the a... [more]irport via Connecticut Limo, groceries/pharmacy is a 200-feet walk away in the form of a Stop-and_Shop next door, and last but not least, an 'in-house' UPS shop resides in the same building. The hotel's restaurant, Vivo, has excellent food at very reasonable prices (compared to other local restaurants), and they don't charge extra for kids (we have three) when one stays in a suite. Take our advice stay anywhere else. Noisy , dirty , lousy part of town , great if you want to do some food shopping, it is adjacent to a giant supermarket
