By Comfort and Luxury

Overall Rating: 10

The Spruce Point Inn is replete with gracious charm. Located out of town on its own penninsula the inn consists of a main building and numerous, more recently constructed separate lodgings. We stayed in the resorts new Lark Lodge. Cathedral ceilings, fireplace, marble bathrooms, soaking tub and walkin shower, sitting area, private porch and above all a fantastic view.

The salt water pool is sweet. Private and plush. We watched lobstermen pick their catch as sailboats eased by in the background.

Dining is fantastic in either restaurant.

Beautiful surroundings. Beautiful pools. Lovely restaurants. Expensive rooms. Seclusion from any street sounds. Isolated but with water access to the harbor. They do not answer emails. Service is so-so but congenial. They have kayaks and bikes. 10 minute drive to town. Better than most accomodations in the area.
