This hotel is pretty darn good. It's always clean with decent ammenities. They have in-room coffee pots and a fridge. The clerks are very friendly and helpful. We like it real well.

The room was not cleaned, there were holes in curtains. Stains all over the floor, comforter. The fire extinguisher outside the room door, had been broken into and was gone. I did not enjoy my stay!!!

My credit card had a charge from this hotel for several days that I did not stay. I spoke to the manager and he insisted that I spoke to him when the reservations were made - which was not true. Not only did I not make reservations or stay at this hotel during that period, I only make reservations on the LaQuinta website. He was so infuriating and insisting that he could remember personally talk... [more]ing to me 45 days earlier, I had to hang up and cool off a day before I contacted LaQuinta headquarters directly. LaQuinta stated that the manager has made a correction to my account after reviewing the records, but I believe he owes me an apology and I still do not have a clear understanding how he saved my credit card acct number from a stay 4 months earlier.
FYI -He also manages the Sulphur,LA LaQuinta.The hotel was ok, but this experience will keep me from returning. [less]
