I booked a night here - a little hesitant based on the cost ($40.00) but since I was just passing through, I thought I would give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised! Although the room was older, it was extremly clean and appeared in very good condition (no rust or tears in the carpeting/walls). Despite the age of room, it smelled nice and was fairly large in size. I was surprised to find ... [more]designer soap/shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom and small vanity desk with lights by the clothes rack. The location of the motel is in a very quiet part of town so I didn't have any noise disturbances in the evening while I slept. The staff was very friendly throughout my experience from when I called to make the reservation and also when arrived for the late check in. I am glad I stayed this motel, it was much nicer and cleaner than some of newer/more expensive inns/main stream motels I've stayed while traveling in Montana. [less]

I travel to Butte often and I book a room at the CAPRI everytime. The CAPRI motel is a good quality hotel that's easy on the budget and the service staff is phenomenal. They treat you exceptionally well, are friendly and courteous, and will work to resolve any issues you may have in order to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The rooms are well appointed and offer some of the same amenities oth... [more]er higher priced hotels/motels do. The CAPRI is by far one of Butte's best kept secrets waiting to be discovered. I found really good restaurants, shopping and a vast aray of local pubs/bars all within walking distance of the motel. Also, because of it's location (historic uptown area) I found several good museums and some wonderful architecturally detailed old buildings, again, within walking distance of the motel. Because Butte is not a large city I found that it takes no time at all to get to the highways or even to Wal-Mart. I know of several good hotel choices in Butte but my choice is always the CAPRI.
