A view of the lake, the zoo, and Lincoln Park...apartment style rooms...amazing prices...why stay anywhere else? If you're looking for an amazing place to stay at an unbelievable price, make sure you check out this hotel. What a beautiful hotel! The suite was beautiful, high-end furniture, very clean and home-like. Service was great too! VERY nice lobby area. Cant wait to go back there!

This classic hotel was a nice cost effective alternitive to the more expensive miracle mile hotels. The two restaurants on site were very nice and the nearby Lincoln Park neiborhood was great. Only a ten minute cab ride to Michigan Avenue.

The Belden Stratford Hotel is located near downtown Chicago across from Lincoln Park. The Belden Stratford's idyllic location, across from the Flower Conservatory and Lincoln Park Zoo, puts guests only steps from Lake Michigan and less than four miles from museums, shopping, the famous House of Blues, the Sears Tower, Art Institute of Chicago and other sites.

The elegant lobby features a gold and alabaster chandelier, a hand painted sky motif ceiling and beautiful hand woven tapestries, which accent the Empire period furnishings. The Belden Stratford is home to the French restaurant, Ambria, one of the city's top rated dining venues. The Ambria dishes up classic, vegetarian and shellfish menus, including Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Braised Beef Ravioli, Raspberry Soufflé, Chocolate Euphoria Cake and Soft Pecan Caramel with Almond Brittle. The more casual Mon Ami Gabi offers French bistro fare, while the Stratford Market, a Mexican American deli, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Belden Stratford is also home to the full service Vera Volli Spa, where guests can pamper themselves with a full range of treatments, including the River Stone Massage and a chocolate wrap.

Some of the luxurious guestrooms feature wrap around views of the surrounding area, including the park and city. Décor includes Oriental rugs and walnut furniture.
