Wonderful place to stay in Dubuque. The staff is friendly and efficient. Large contintental breakfast and newspapers provided is a great amenity. Technology available in all the rooms. Mini kitchens in the room makes it easy to call this "home" for a couple of days or a month. Thank you MainStay - Dubuque.

This motel, although rather new, was pathetic to say the least. Unvacuumed floors, wallpaper border hanging off the walls, broken tiles, an inch of dust on the refrigerator,and stains to give you scary thoughts. Got stuck and stayed there again a few months later for 2 nights. Same thing. Told the staff and they took off $20 total for the 2 nights. I wrote corporate and they did contact me and ... [more]offered me a free night and an apology. When I stayed for that I was told by the staff..."well you shouldn't complain about anything THIS time..you got it free!" There are much better places to stay in Dubuque! [less]

My experience with this motel was not good. I checked in and checked out all within an hours time. The idea of a suite with a kitchen and sitting area is great----but this place doesnt cut it. The staff was not very friendly and the room was terrible. The furniture and carpet was stained, worn and looked very dirty! The whole room smelled like "fried fish". The only good thing was... [more] that they didnt charge me for cancelling the reservation! Horrible! I would recommend this place to no one! [less]
