My wife, three children and my inlaws recently stayed over the weekend. I was so impressed with the hotel that I felt it necessary to write this review immediately. The rooms were large enough for 5 (1 in a crib)to move around quite easily. The staff was both quite friendly and helpful. The furnishings were exquisite and kept in sparkling condition. My wife was impressed to find out that every evening a member of the hotel staff went door to door to deliver chocolate, bottled water and ice.

Great location if you are attending a Sox game. It takes ten minutes to walk to the park. My ten year old son thought it was the "coolest" place he ever stayed when he noticed the view of Fenway. It was so close when we watched the ballgame the night before ours he was looking out the window to see if he could see find fly balls.

The hotel was also located directly near an MBTA T stop. This was great when we went out to see other areas of Boston. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Commonwealth and had an excellent time. The rooms are very spacious and immaculate. My 13 year old son loved waking up every morning and opening the drapes and seeing Fenway Park from our 5th floor window. What a view! It is only a 5 minute walk to the Park. If you are planning on going to a Redsox's game then this is where you want to stay. But it is also very convienent to the rest of Boston with Kenmore Station right outside the front door. The staff was also very efficient and friendly. Thank you, Hotel Commonwealth, for a great first trip to Boston!!!

The Hotel Commonwealth has the most amazing beds I have ever experienced at a hotel - I had to tear myself out of bed for my business meeting!
The hotel is tastfully elegant and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. A little pricey for private travel, but if you're on a corporate account, I highly recommend it.

Excellent service all around. Great view of Fenway Park and close to subway system. Absolutely loved Boston,the Red Sox and all the history and beauty of the city. Staying at the Commonwealth will defintely remain one of my favorite experiences of all time.

THE HOTEL WAS GREAT. STAFF BEDS AND RESTUARANT. You could come with family or friends.
