The Capitol Plaza provides a pleasant respite with its wonderful decor, staff, service, and coffee. The newly remodeled lobby, atrium, meeting rooms, and bar areas are stunning and were well worth the wait. The new color scheme is especially vibrant and uplifting, the perfect accompaniment to the best cup of hotel coffee served anywhere in the mainland U.S.

The friendly attentive se... [more]rvice provided by everyone from the front desk to the meeting wait staff is quite similar to that I've experienced at upscale resorts in Hawaii and the Caribbean.

Finally, a convenient location with easy access to highways and nearby state government buildings makes it a great value. [less]

The color scheme was very welcoming and "homey". I did not eat in the restaurant, but the catered meal was very tasty. The bar area is open but seemed excessively noisy with only a few in the bar. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was CLEAN as well as the bath. I would definately go back!

At my time at Capitol Plaza Hotel, I had various likes and dislikes of the hotel. First I would like to state that Capitol Plaza Hotel had several of friendly staff and there was a number of clean belongings. There were also things that I most of all hated! The sheets on the bed had awful looking stains, as well as the MATTRESS! Their service was horrible, they needed to take intrest in people the...
