Im a kid and i had a great time at the lake hamilton resort. the rooms are great, perfect for about 4 people. the indoor and outdoor pools are a good size, but the beach was sort of overgrown with weeds. the scenery is beautiful, and its not to far from Hot Springs, about 2 miles. ( if you want a mineral bath, Buckstaff is the place to go)

It's very nice, roomy, comfortable.. Swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, masoose! Everything a girl could want.I would definately go back! It was a great place to stay, good spring break! We went to eat at the fishermans dwarf from there and it was great! The next day we went to the horse races, which was exciting.. The stay was great, I couldn't ask for better. I have no idea what the person was talking about in one review chain-smoke but it wasn't like that at all.

By the web site we thought we were staying at one of the nicest places in Hot Springs. We were so wrong! The rooms are old, moldy, and the sleeper sofa was worn out and falling apart. Thank goodness it was only supporting our 5 year old son! My husband sat on the egde of the bed and fell through! The sandy beach was awful, dirty and unsafe,no telling what is in that stuff. The pools were dirty and murky. You could see a greasy film on top of the water. The patio was dirty. This was a nice place to stay back in the 1980's! It is not worth the price of 100 bucks a night! It is dead around there too! The locals stay away! You should too!

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was like being in a smoky bowling alley. There was no place to get away from the smoke. So if you are a chain smoker, this is the place for you. If you don't like getting sick from other people's nasty habit, stay far far away.

It was old, smelly and needed to come into the current century!!

Dirty, overpriced and run down, with little to no management visible. Staff in messy street clothes, busy talking, visiting with each other. Room was filthy, mold apparent in the closet and on the ceiling. Furniture is spotted, and carpet a mess. We walked right out when seeing these conditions and stayed elsewhere! When in Hot Springs, FORGET the Lake Hamilton Resort..it's horrible.
