I saw the review on line written by Bobby from Chandler and found it very upsetting. i have stayed at the Amara on numerous occassions and have always had a wonderful time. The resort is in a perfect location, the staff has always been very friendly and accomodating and generally go out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, and I find the guest rooms lovely, the restaurant exceptional and the views are breathtaking!

The resort is a more contemporary style and not for everyone, especially if you are looking for southwest flair, however, I travel all over the world and find the Amara's style refreshing and different, not plain and boring and certainly not similiar to a Best Western!

I have not personally dealt with Mr. Davis, however, having dealt with a large majority of the staff and knowing the amount of wedding and convention business they do, I find it difficult to believe that the description of this mans experience is totally accurate!

I would highly recommend the Amara to anyone searching for a classy, stylish resort in uptown Sedona. I would also advise people to check the place out for themselves, not rely on one persons opinion. Thank you!

This hotel offers good service and the quality of the room and furnishings were above average. The grounds are beautiful and situated on Oak Creek which is lovely. The food was terrific, but was a bit on the expensive side. The location is great with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Close to great hiking and site seeing.

Beautiful hotel in the best location in sedona. Red rock views everywhere you looked. Staff could not do enough for you. One of the most comfortable beds we ever slept in. Taking a walk on the grounds is also something to see, this hotel thought of everything. The only negitive about this hotel is that the rest. is very expensive for breakfast.If we ever visited sedona again it is the only hotel we would stay in.Sedona must be the most beautiful place in the United States to visit.
