Seward Attractions
 The Alaska SeaLife Center invites visitors to explore Gulf of Alaska marine wildlife. Alaskan king crab, sea stars, Pacific octopus as well as a whole variety of deep sea fishes and intertidal creatures are inhabitants of the SeaLife Center. Its naturalistic exhibits immerse visitors in the dynamic marine ecosystems of Alaska.

 Visitors of Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary, which is located in the forested mountains at rustic Herring Cove, have a chance to observe abundant wildlife in a pristine natural environment. Eagles, bear, seals, a variety of birds and many other creatures are inhabitants of Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary.

 Kenai Fjords National Park is the final refuge for the last glaciers of the Ice Age. The Park encompasses 607,805 acres of unspoiled wilderness on the coast of Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. The landscape changes from rocky coastline to glacier-crowned peaks.

 Glacier Gardens are fifty acres of Southeast Alaska's lush rainforest offering landscaping, floral design, and scenic vistas. Blueberry, huckleberry and many plants border the pathways in their natural setting. Guests can enjoy guided tours from the comfort of covered golf carts.

 This small, but charming Zoo houses 85 species of wildlife from the Arctic, including glacier bears, grizzly bears, seals and otters, musk oxen, Dall sheep, moose, and caribou. In the summer, 2-hour naturalist tours take place every day. A snack bar serves basic meals and there is a large gift shop.

 A world-class museum located in downtown Anchorage, the Anchorage Museum of History & Art presents an impressive collection of historic and contemporary Alaskan art. Visitors can also join an informative 45-minute tour (given several times daily) or step into the theater to watch a film on Alaska.

 The Tongass Historical Museum collects and demonstrates material and information showcasing the history, art, and culture of Ketchikan and Southeast Alaska. Public programs, special events, workshops, and educational programs are also offered.

 Alaska Botanical Garden is a tranquil garden setting inside 110 acres of forest. Walk along the 1.1-mile nature trail and learn about native flora and the garden flowers and herbs that grow in Alaska.

 Gold Dredge Number 8 is a unique artifact of Alaskan gold mining which offers visitors the chance to experience the thrill of prospecting. The tour includes a film, a view and explanation of a 1928 dredge, and a chance to pan for gold. A hearty Miner's Stew lunch are offered in the historic dining hall.
