Museum of Northern ArizonaDescriptionThe Museum of Northern Arizona houses nearly 5 million objects in its anthropology, biology, geology, and fine art collections. The cornerstone of the museum is an exhibit that illustrates every geologic period of the Colorado Plateau from 15,000 B.C. to the present. The museum building itself is made of native stone. In the courtyard visitors can explore plants from the six life zones of northern Arizona. The large gift shop of the museum offers contemporary Native American arts and crafts.
