Forrest Wood Crowley's Ridge Nature Center

Description

At Forrest L. Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center in Jonesboro visitors have chance to experience and explore a unique piece of North America and its wildlife. The diverse site features trails through wetlands, forest and prairie. The exhibits showcase the natural forces that formed the 200-mile-long ridge and native wildlife. State-of-the-art displays create natural phenomenons, such as a realistic "rain storm", and a movie about the earthquake in New Madrid actually "shakes" the audience.

Visitors should wear comfortable walking shoes and appropriate clothing for exploring the Nature Center. It is strongly recommended to bring sunscreen and bug repellent in the spring and summer months.
