Historic Arkansas MuseumHistoric Arkansas Museum houses the premier collection of paintings, furniture, silver, pottery, textiles and firearms made by Arkansas artists and artisans over the past two hundred years. Arkansas`s largest history museum, Historic Arkansas has been researching, collecting, documenting, and preserving the best of Arkansas`s decorative, mechanical, and fine art for more than two decades.
Arkansas-made art and artifacts are presented in four exhibit galleries of the museum. Collections are arranged by Art and Paintings, Furniture, Guns, Hunting Horns, Jewelry, Knives, Photographs, Pottery, Pottery of Caddo, Quilts and Silver.
The Trinity Gallery showcases the best of contemporary work by Arkansas`s talented artists and artisans. Exhibits change quarterly and feature a diverse selection of media. The works in this gallery are often available for purchase.
