Cave of the WindsDescriptionThis impressive underground cavern was discovered by two boys on a church outing in the 1880s. The Cave of the Winds is an interesting geological formation. Visitors go along a well-lit 3/4-mile passageway through 20 subterranean chambers, complete with crystal flowers, stalagmites, stalactites, and limestone canopies. For adventurous travelers the Lantern Tour along unpaved and unlighted passageways and corridors is offered. Children like the outdoor laser shows with stereophonic sound, which is presented nightly during the summer at 9 p.m.
Entrance FeeDiscovery Tour: $16 adults, $8 children 6-15, free for children under. Lantern Tour: $20 adults, $12 children 6-15 (not recommended for children under 6).
