Columbus MuseumDescriptionColumbus Museum is the second-largest art museum in Georgia and one of the largest in the Southeast. The permanent collection of the museum includes American drawings, paintings, sculpture and decorative arts. Objects of the collection are displayed chronologically by style to show the general evolution of American art during 300 years, from the colonial period to the present.
The museum also offers many educational opportunities, such as classes, and free programs. For children there is a special interactive gallery where they can create their own masterpieces.
