Polynesian Cultural CenterDescriptionHawaii's Polynesian Cultural Center is located about an hour's scenic drive from Waikiki. The 42-acre site consists of re-created villages and presents seven Polynesian regions: Fiji, Hawai'i, the Marquesas, New Zealand, Samoa, Tahiti and Tonga. Each village is "inhabited" by native students from Polynesia who attend Hawaii's Brigham Young University. Visitors travel through the park by foot or in a canoe on a man-made freshwater lagoon. There is a variety of stage shows celebrating the music, dance, history, and culture of Polynesia.
