Fort Hall Replica

Before Fort Hall was established the general location was known as a favorable fur region. Located in a sheltered bend of Snake River near the junction of Blackfoot and Portneuf Rivers with the main stream, "The Bottoms" as the area came to be called, had for perhaps hundreds of years been a favorite gathering and camping place for the ShoshoneBannock Indians.

We also want to tell you about the mission of the Fort Hall Replica Commission, which has been expanded to include administration of Pocatello Junction also located within the Fort Hall Replica Historical Complex.

Pocatello Junction is a small-scale replica of the original town site of Pocatello located within the Fort Hall Replica Historic Complex. It is located on a two-acre area adjacent to the Fort Hall Replica and the Bannock County Museum . There are twelve permanent buildings—Neilson’s Grocery Store, a Hardware Store, Union Pacific Railroad Depot, Pocatello Tribune, Land Office, Bank, Bannock County Courthouse, First Congregational Church, Saloon, Doctor’s Office, Pharmacy, and School--complete with foundations, electricity, and some plumbing utilities were constructed as a project initiated by the Bannock County Centennial Committee in 1990.

School Tours: $.50 per person
Fort Rental : $100.00 plus $50.00 deposit per day.
Stage : $30 / 5 hours or $55 per day
Pocatello Junction buildings $50 per day
