Lincoln Home National Historic SiteDescriptionAbraham and Mary Lincoln bought this Greek Revival house in 1844, and it was theit home for 17 years. The Lincolns enlarged the house to a full two stories in 1856 to meet the needs of their growing family. Now the house is a popular historic site. It has been restored to its 1860s appearance and draws many visitors each year. The exposition shows Lincoln's life with his family in Springfield.
Entrance FeeThere is no fee to tour the Lincoln Home. Get a free ticket at the Visitor Center. Donations are accepted.
Operating Hours & SeasonsThe Lincoln Home Visitor Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except January 1st, Thanksgiving, and December 25th.
