In 1830, Boothbay Harbor was a boat building center and a harbor for ships from all over the world. The 1830 Admiral's Quarters Inn was built by a sea captain on a hilltop with a view of his ship. Today, the 1830 Admiral's Quarters Inn is the perfect place for Maine experience. The Inn is recently restored and offers an eagle's-eye view of all that's going on land or at sea, and is minutes of walking from shops, restaurants, and harbor activities.
The 1830 Admiral's Quarters Inn today has six accommodations that are beautifully decorated with a blending together of antiques and white wicker furniture adding to the charm of this old sea captain's home. All rooms feature private entrances, wall-to-wall carpeting, and king, queen, or twin beds. For year round hospitality, each room has a fireplace and is fully air-conditioned.

The Harbor View Solarium provides a place to relax in summer with sea breezes or by the wood burning stove in winter. Newspapers, puzzles, and games are offered to you in the Solarium. If you need a reminiscence of your stay, the Gift Shop offers items "Made in Maine".

Breakfast is served daily with heavenly home baked breads, muffins, doughnuts, biscuits, or coffee cakes. Hot dishes may include banana pancakes with sausage, delicious French toast with bacon, egg & sausage casserole or blueberry cobbler French toast. Plenty of fresh fruits, juices, cereals, granola, and desert complete the hearty breakfast buffet. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day, and afternoon beverages like fruited iced tea, mulled cider, and goodies are served daily.
