This bed and breakfast was built in 1891. It demonstrates a 3-story turret and the initial working fireplaces with tile hearths and excellently renewed floors and woodwork. Guests can walk along surrounding Western Promenade and view others of the oldest Victorian homes in the city. Nearby there are the City's Arts District and the popular Portland Museum of Art.
Different world's places are depicted in the decor of each of four guestrooms. To provide a comfortable night's sleep, Plush mattresses and pillows are covered with the softest linens. Every room has a reading creek complete with a chair and cozy lighting. Guest rooms are air conditioned in season. They all contain a private bath with shower. Soft, elegant terry robes are given to guests whose bathroom is situated across the hall.
Breakfast is served fireside in the dining room and includes homemade granola, fresh juice and coffee. Also delicious entree of the day is served.
