Mayflower II

Description

Visiting Mayflower II is an extraordinary experience. The ship is a full-scale replica of the Mayflower that brought the Pilgrims from England to America in 1620. All details of the ship have been carefully recreated to give you a sense of what the original 17th-century vessel was like. Exhibits describe and illustrate the journey and the Pilgrims' experience, as well as 17th-century navigation techniques, stocking the ship with food and other provisions, and the history of the Mayflower II. Costumed guides provide interesting narrative tours about the vessel and voyage.
