Omaha Botanical GardensDescriptionLocated on 75 acres just south of downtown Omaha, the Botanical Gardens showcase the beauty of plants and flowers. Flora and fauna from around the world are collected here. The site features the Robert H. Storz Family Rose Garden, an arboretum and herb garden. Visitors walk through different plant communities. For more information they can read wayside interpretive exhibits near each community. But it’s not necessary to be an expert to appreciate the beauty of Omaha Botanical Gardens.

One-hour narrated tram tours are available May to October for $2 per person (adults and children).
Operating HoursOpen daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Open until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays for "Twilight Tuesdays" from mid-May to mid-September.
Getting ThereFrom the Greater Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau at 10th and Farnam in the Old Market, follow 10th Street south to Bancroft. Turn left (east) onto Bancroft and continue eastbound through a residential area to the visitor and education center.
