Wild Rose Inn Bed & Breakfast

Description

The Wild Rose Inn is a new Queen Anne Victorian. This charming home is furnished in antiques, with oak predominating. You will also find a lot of old toys and oak telephones. The Wild Rose Inn has five distinctive rooms, all featuring beautiful antique decor.

Attractions of the area, known as the oldest settlement in Nevada, include but are not limited to golf, hot springs, tennis, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Sleepy and picturesque, Genoa also offers fine dining, a general store and several antique shops open year around. The town still retains much of its old-time charm. A short way down the road, historic Walley's Hot Springs provides a swimming pool, several spring fed hot pools, sauna, fine dining, and other facilities. For those who enjoy walking or biking, the area has many country roads though beautiful scenery.

Amenities

All five rooms feature queen-sized iron or brass beds; private baths accented with brass and marble; tub and shower or stall shower. TV is available on request. Afternoon tea and a full breakfast may be enjoyed in the dining room, on the veranda or in the room. On cool days, a warm fire will welcome you in the parlor. In warm weather, air conditioning cools the house. Use of nearby Walley's Hot Springs is available at discount rate. Guests can relax in the outdoor spa - great for stargazing and relaxing after a day of hiking or skiing.
