Stratosphere Tower DescriptionThe Stratosphere Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the USA and the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. The Tower features observation decks, lounge, restaurant, meeting & banquet space and private dining rooms. From 1,149 feet guests enjoy panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding valley.
The Tower houses three hair-raising rides. The "Let It Ride High Roller" is the world's highest coaster. Even more fun is the "Big Shot", a breathtaking free-fall ride that shoots riders 160 feet into the air where they experience zero gravity then free fall to the platform, which is 800 feet above the street. The newest ride is "X-Scream" that propels visitors in an open car off the side of the 100-story tower and lets them dangle there weightlessly before returning you to relative safety.
