Bismarck Attractions
 The Largest Cow is perched higher steep hill rising above the city of New Salem. Salem Sue can be seen for 5 miles. Built in 1974, this tremendous cow stands as a memorial to the area's dairy farmers, their huge herds, and the production of high quality milk.

 Located at the Historic Port of Bismarck, the Fabulous 150 passenger, Lewis and Clark Riverboat, continues the historic tradition of the great river streamboats that have traveled the Mighty Missouri River from St. Louis to the commerce posts of the great northwest since the 1830's. And, now one can travel the river of Lewis and Clark, Sakakawea, Custer and Sitting Bull in style and relief on the last passenger boat on the upper Missouri.

 Gateway to Science offers interesting exhibits which give all ages an opportunity to learn about science. Visitors experience laws of nature and learn how the world works. The museum tries to encourage interest in, and appreciation of, science and technology concepts. Science is exciting and very important to society.  The Crane is as large as 40 feet in height and 4.5 tons in weight. This Beast is quite evasive to the usual tourist. It looks like a standing guard over the Lone Steer Motel/Cafe/Lounge just outside the city. It was completed in 1999.

 You'll always find something you haven't seen before at the North Dakota Heritage Center. Throughout the building special galleries set out the various collections of the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Unparalleled exhibits demonstrate a multitude variety of artifacts and documents. The special exhibits, whether temporary or permanent, can be found throughout the building.

 The Fargo Theatre is a place for all audiences and seasons.
It is a venue for performances, concertes and special events. You can watch wide variety of films in it. In 2005 first film festival will be held. The Fargo Theatre remains the only theatre in the area with ability to present 16-mm, 35-mm, and 70-mm films. The Mighty WurliTzer rises from the pit each weekend for live intermission music, provided by the American Theatre Organ Society.

The North Dakota Museum of Art tries to bring the best regional, national and international art to the people. The Museum does its best to brighten cultural life through vivid and various contemporary art.

 The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony makes possible to listen high quality orchestra music through live regional concerts and supports related projects such as education, regional outreach, special recording and performance projects. It is a non-commercial project.
